Behind the Piece

I painted this one thinking about deep space. The background is a deep purple, that dried almost black, and then these curves came together with turquoise, pink, and gold. I like the little cells, especially where the gold and pink come through. The middle gets brighter where the colors meet, and the rest stays dark around it. It was a fun painting to make. Full of curves, and it doesn't really settle into a straight line.
