Behind the Piece

I painted this one thinking about the daffodils that pop up at the beginning of spring. A lot of the background stayed white. The yellow came through with teal and green, and there's a little rust near the bottom. I love the soft yellow that flows so smoothly throughout the piece. It has all that energy of when spring is starting. This painting is a reminder that change can be so beautiful.
